Balance (Payment Account)

Introduction

Functions like a payment wallet, it is where the money deposited by customers or promotional funds are stored. The balance amount is the remaining money in the Balance.

Bizfly Cloud Billing supports 3 types of Balance:

  • Main Balance (Primary Payment Account): where payments made through real money transactions are stored.
  • General Promotional Balance (General Promotional Account): where promotional funds (arising from promotional programs, contract additions, etc.) of the customer are stored, used to pay for all services of Bizfly Cloud.
  • Service Promotional Balance (Service Promotional Account): where the customer’s promotional funds are stored, used to pay for a single service. Each service integrated with Billing will have its own service promotional account.

Rules for deducting money from Balance

In normal cases, customers only have one unpaid invoice. Money is deducted in the order of priority: Main Balance, General Promo, Service Promo. In cases where customers have multiple unpaid invoices simultaneously, the system will change the algorithm to pay as many invoices as possible.

For example: A customer has a Cloud Server invoice of 200.000 VND, with the following balance amounts:

  • Main Balance: 50.000 VND
  • General Promo Balance: 100.000 VND
  • Cloud Server Service Promo Balance: 200.000 VND

The deduction of money is explained in the table below:

Rules for refunding to Balance

The refund process will be the reverse of the deduction process. The resources that were refunded from which Balances will have the remaining amount refunded to those balances in the order of refund.

In the example in the deduction section, if the invoice is refunded 70.000 VND, the refund order will be as follows:
