Definition of Variable Resources

These are resources for which usage and costs cannot be calculated at the start of service usage.

Variable resources have a unit price based on hourly usage.

Calculation Method

For variable resources, the quantity of usage and costs are finalized hourly and paid at the end of the billing period.

For example, calculating the cost for CDN service, which has variable resources: data transfer, with the following pricing:

• 930 VND/GB for usage from 0 to 5 TB.
• 800 VND/GB for usage from 5 TB to 10 TB.

If a customer uses 8 TB in a month, the cost is calculated as follows: 930 * 5 * 1000 + 800 * 3 * 1000 = 7.050.000 VND (1 TB = 1.000 GB).

An example of an invoice for variable resources, such as DDoS service. Start date of usage: May 5, the invoice for the June billing period is finalized at the end of May 31 and issued on June 1.
