CDN (Content Delivery Network) is a system of servers located in various places around the world that contains copies of website content within the system to distribute data content such as: images, CSS, JavaScript, videos, download files… to end-users.

How does Bizfly CDN work?
- The user (Alice) sends a request for a file using a URL with a domain name in the format
.cdn.vccloud.vn. DNS directs this request to the best CDN server cluster, which is usually the CDN server cluster geographically closest to the user and has the fastest network speed from the user to the CDN server cluster. - If this file is not yet cached on the CDN server, the CDN server will then request the file from the website’s origin server.
- The origin server returns the file content to the CDN server.
- The CDN server returns the file content to the user (Alice) and caches the file on its server.
- Other users (in the same region as Alice) subsequently request the file using the same URL.
- The CDN server will serve the file content from its cache to these users. This process leads to faster file delivery, improving the user experience while also significantly reducing the amount of traffic to the origin server.
