Quick Start

Bizfly Cloud Database is a service that provides database solutions on a cloud computing platform, helping users and businesses implement an effective data management solution, ensuring data integrity recovery in disaster scenarios. It also monitors information related to users’ database management systems, automatically adjusting data storage capacity according to the resource usage needs of the database management system.

Bizfly Cloud Database is a free service provided by Bizfly Cloud during the Beta and trial period. The information related to usage costs is for reference only.


Create Database Instances

A Database Instance is a concept where, when users create a Database Instance, the system will automatically create a Database Node with the database management system that the user has selected during creation.

Create Configuration Groups

Configuration Groups are created and used to configure the Database Instance.

  1. From the All Services menu on the top left of the management page, select Cloud Database.
  2. Select Configuration Groups and then Create Configuration Group.
  3. Choose the Database Engine. Depending on each type of Database Engine and Version, there will be different configurations.
  4. Select and set the necessary configurations.
  5. Name and create the Configuration Group.

Create Backups

Backups are used to restore the data of the Database Instance at the time the backup is performed.

  1. From the All Services menu on the top left of the management page, select Cloud Database.
  2. Select Backups and then Create Backup.
  3. Choose the Database Instance, then select the Database Node you want to back up.
  4. Name and create the Backups.

Create Backup Schedules

Backup Schedules are used to set up automatic backups of the data of Database Instances.

  1. From the All Services menu on the top left of the management page, select Cloud Database.
  2. Select Backup Schedules and then Create Backup Schedule.
  3. Choose the Database Instance, then select the Database Node you want to back up.
  4. Configure the backup execution time.
  5. Name and create the Backup Schedules.

Create Database Migration

Database Migration is used to migrate database data from external sources to Bizfly Cloud’s Cloud Database.

  1. From the All Services menu on the top left of the management page, select Cloud Database.
  2. Select Database Migration and then Create Database Migration.
  3. Choose the Database Engine.
  4. Enter the information about the Source Database.
  5. Select the destination Database Instances.
  6. Name and create the Database Migration.
