Create Configuration Groups

Bizfly Cloud Database is a service that provides database solutions on a cloud computing platform, helping users and businesses implement an effective data management solution, ensuring data integrity recovery in disaster scenarios. It also monitors information related to users’ database management systems, automatically adjusting data storage capacity according to the resource usage needs of the database management system.

Bizfly Cloud Database is a free service provided by Bizfly Cloud during the Beta and trial period. The information related to usage costs is for reference only.

Configuration Groups are a feature that allows you to configure and fine-tune the default settings of the Database Engine. Depending on each type of Database Engine and Version, you will have different configurations and values.

1. Create Configuration Groups

To create Configuration Groups, follow these steps:

1. Access the management page:

Select the Create Configuration Group menu, and choose the desired Database Engine and Version:

2. Choose the configurations and set the desired values:

3. Name the Configuration Group and select Create Configuration Group.

2. Using Configuration Groups

After successfully creating Configuration Groups, you can use them to configure Database Nodes as follows:

1. Access the management page of the Database Nodes, select the Settings tab. In the Configuration Group section, you can choose the Configuration Group you want to use for configuration. After selecting, click Update to confirm:

Depending on each Configuration Group, you may need to restart the Database Nodes or not. Before performing a restart, please consider to avoid potential issues.
